Look Essex is the voluntary organisation dedicated to raising awareness, and providing information and services for visually impaired children, young people, their carers and their families, in Essex.
Family Support
Befriending, advice, referral and representation, delivered by our team of Family Support Volunteers.
Young Vision
Look Essex promotes partnership and collaboration with other organisations, and groups to encourage independent living and freedom of choice. Multi agency working encourages the provision of joined up and inclusive services for children with visual impairment Look Essex involve parents and families at every level to enable and to encourage independence.

Technology & Resources
Look Essex can provide equipment, computers, and resources for familiarisation, loan and personal use for visually impaired children and young people. We currently provide computers, printers, scanners, brailing machines and numerous other resources to families in Essex.
Infant Massage Service
Our qualified Volunteers can enable Parents & Carers to massage their babies and young children, to aid bonding, communication, self awareness, health and well being.
Information Service
Awareness raising through outreach, integrated information packs, leaflets, newsletters, and multi media/format.
Technology & Resources
Equipment, computers, and resources for familiarisation, loan and personal use.
Mentoring Programme
Structured development and support enabling visually impaired people the opportunity to meet their full potential.
Community Projects
Raising awareness among community partners, including schools voluntary groups and other service providers.
Future Sight
Preparation for life's transitions enabling opportunity into adulthood and beyond.
