Place2Be is a national charity providing emotional support to children in schools.
Why it matters
Today's school children face all kinds of challenges that threaten to derail them, from gang culture on our streets to challenging home lives. Unless they are given the means to cope, their feelings of sadness, fear and anger can easily spill over in the classroom - and in society.
School-based service
Place2Be supports children whose emotional issues and behaviour impede their learning and often disrupt the learning of others, putting a strain on teacher and senior staff time.
