Making space

Making Space has been working in healthcare, support and enablement services for 30 years now - originally supporting people affected by mental health conditions. More recently the organisation has resolved to use all of the experience it has gained to extend its service to any group of people who are in need of care and support, including physical and/or mental health conditions and people with learning disabilities and dementia, AND their carers.

The Making Space approach to all of the people who use its services is embodied in ‘personalisation' -striving to deliver all of our services with humanity, dignity and compassion.

Today we're creating further core services for people with physical and/or mental health conditions - including learning disabilities and dementia - and for carers, working with partner agencies in strategic healthcare, PCT's and social services, housing associations and others.
