Time To Change

Time to Change is England's biggest ever attempt to end the stigma and discrimination that faces people with mental health problems.

It is a campaign to change attitudes, and behaviour too. One in four of us will experience a mental health problem in any given year - and if we do, we are highly likely to face stigma and discrimination from others.

Our aims for this phase are to:

  • Improve public attitudes towards people with mental health problems by 5%
  • Reduce discrimination by 5%
  • Reduce the number of areas of life in which people experience discrimination
  • Increase the confidence and ability of people with mental health problems to address discrimination
  • Improve the social capital of people with mental health problems.
