We are a community-based, not-for-private-profit enterprise based in Little Canfield, a small rural village near Stansted airport in Essex.
In addition to our monthly Sunday markets - selling local produce and crafts, Local Food (& More!) Co-operative also runs The Green Café, a weekend watering-hole for local residents and users of the Flitch Way - a popular walking/cycling route adjacent to our venue.
Future plans include a bike hire facility to enable more people to cycle the Flitch Way and access arguably our best local asset - the National Trust\'s Hatfield Forest and a fresh produce box scheme for local residents.
Our social aims are to provide training and work experience opportunities for young unemployed people - so your support will also be helping to provide wider benefits in our community.
