Peer led support
Community groups and activities that are open to adults 18+ who would like to meet others on their journey of recovery from mental ill health and/or substance/alcohol misuse. Feel included in friendly, sociable activities and events.
The Futures in Mind Service is a partnership between Phoenix Futures, Mid and North Essex Mind and Mind in West Essex.
The Peer Support Volunteers who run these activities and groups are all people who have experienced mental ill health and/or substance/alcohol misuse provide a friendly welcome and give support to others.
Befriending
Futures in Mind trained volunteer befrienders can enable you to do the things you want to do that will help improve your wellbeing, offer conversation and companionship, and help you feel included in your community.
