The Muslim Doctors & Dentists Association is dedicated to promoting, preserving and increasing health awareness amongst Muslim Communities and ethnic minorities within the United Kingdom. They carry out the following activities during the year at various community centres and mosques throughout the UK:
- Basic Life Support Training
- Paediatric Basic Life Support Training
- Health Checks: blood pressure and blood glucose monitoring
- Dietary Advice and Life Style changes
- Smoking Cessastion Advice
- Alcohol and Drug Liason
They also run social and networking events, as well as seminars and conferences aimed at professionals.
