European Health Insurance Card (EHIC)

European Health Insurance Card which entitles holder to medical treatment when on a temporary visit to EEA (European Economic Area) countries or Switzerland. It replaces the E111. You can apply for it online, by telephone or by picking up an application form from the Post Office.
