The Fit for Work Service is a fast-track referral service for those who have been signed off work due to sickness for four weeks or more. It provides access to support and treatment including counselling, acupuncture, physiotherapy, osteopathy and clinical exercise, and can refer people to a local employment agency and debt and housing advice services. They also conduct workplace assessments for people who are still at work but are developing symptoms of illness.
