Civil Legal Advice

The Civil Legal advice service is a government service for people eligible for legal aid. It allows you to asess your eligibility and then phone an advice line for further information. There is an on-line form for people to request the service to ring them back.

Legal aid is available for, for example:

  • benefits' appeals
  • debt advice, if your home is at risk
  • special educayional needs
  • housing
  • discrimination issues
  • help and advice to victims of domestic violence
  • issues around children being taken into care.
