The Waltham Abbey Community Centre has a central and easy to find location with good parking space.
Facilites include:
- A choice of two large function halls.
- A small meeting room.
- A Preschool on site which is open daily.
- A Day Centre for the over 60's which is open three days a week.
- Disabled Toilet Facilities.
- Baby Changing Facilities.
- A large Car Park for approx. 35 cars.
Day Centre
Our over 60's club is open on Mondays Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10am - 2pm.
It is for the retired residents of Waltham Abbey and enables members to socialise and enjoy a home cooked three course lunch and have the opportunity to chat and mix with friends.
Table games including cards and dominoes are played and also the ever popular bingo. Entertainment at the Day Centre and outings to the seaside, river trips and variety lunches are organised on a regular basis.
We provide transport to and from the Day Centre as required.
