The Community Safety Unit will:
keep improving the way we investigate incidents of domestic violence, racism, homophobia and transphobia as well as cases where a person has been because of their perceived race, faith, sexual orientation, or disability ?

pursue, arrest and prosecute people who commit domestic violence or hate crimes

be open about how we investigate domestic violence or hate crimes

in partnership with other organisations, provide support for those who have suffered from domestic violence or hate crimes

liaise with other organisations to make sure we are giving the best possible service at all times

build new partnerships to combat domestic violence or hate crimes

make sure we record everything we do in an investigation and that the person who has reported the domestic violence or hate crime is kept up to date.
