Restore Community Centre

Restore Community Church is a lively and growing Christian church within reach of the local community.

The church contributes to the spiritual life of the locality by offering a variety of church services, clubs, courses, and events for all ages. Restore meets on Sundays at 10.30am at Davenant Foundation School and throughout the week in various activities in the community.

We have a passion to see our local community restored. As part of our desire to help those in need in our local community, we opened Restore Community Centre in March 2012, and various community activities now take place there, at 68 The Broadway, Debden.

Stepping Stones

Support and friendship group for people with anxiety and/or depression.

Come along to meet new people and chat things through on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month, from 5pm - 7pm. No need to ring, just turn up.

The Marriage Course

The Marriage Course is a series of eight sessions designed to help any married couple strengthen their relationship.

It's a great opportunity to spend time together as a couple looking at the important issues in your marriage. The Marriage Course is very practical and will help equip you with the tools needed to build a healthy marriage that lasts a lifetime.

Each week you are given the opportunity to enjoy a special meal together and listen to a talk. Then there is plenty of time to discuss the topic as a couple. There is no group work involved at any stage of the course.

Debt counselling resources

We like to try and help before the situation becomes more difficult to deal with.

We offer budget coaching as a way to try and redress income-expenditure imbalances before you get into serious debt. Many debt problems do not just happen overnight but are a result of a series of decisions or choices which culminate in an unsustainable debt position.

Inside-Out Active

One of the ways that we seek to serve the local community is by offering one-off practical assistance to those in need.
We do this one Saturday each month, and help has included gardening, decorating, moving home etc.

Refresh

Supporting anyone with, depression, anxiety, and emotional issues.

The group is run by Melvin and Heather Harrison, with other helpers and enjoys the support of Essex NHS, local Mental Health Clinics, Doctors practises, The Forest Hall Church and Restore Community Church. We welcome anyone from any area and there is no charge. The groups meet at Forest Hall, 2 High Beech Road, Loughton IG10 4BL. Please use the side entrance of this building.
