Rainbow Services works to alleviate the effects of disadvantage, deprivation and social exclusion through imaginative projects that support, enable and develop people and organisations, and which stimulate beneficial change in the local community
Re-use and Workshop Project
The workshop offers placements for comumunity service workers to undertake their allocated hours in an environment that is truly community based.
The workshop will continue to use donated and reclaimed wood to create items for sale such as bird tables, planters and other items.
The Rainbow Centre
The Rainbow Centre aims to support voluntary and community organisations within Harlow via a range of infrastructure support services and practical facilities.
Working with volunteers
At Rainbow Services we value the time, interest, skills and commitment that our volunteer team bring to the organisation. Anybody can volunteer.
Quigy's Kitchen
Quigy's Kitchen is our community cafe serving food made from locally sourced produce to create freshly made lunches for the public from The Rainbow Centre at Wych Elm.
Rainbow Young Bus
The Rainbow Young Bus visits areas of Harlow where there are no designated safe play areas, to provide a free (yes, really free!) drop-in service to children and young people living in Harlow. On board we have activities such as; x-box, DVDs, music, sports, games, arts and crafts and computers.
