NCT Branches are your local parent support network, helping you become the parent you want to be
The Saffron Walden branch is run by local parents on a voluntary basis. We offer support, information and friendship to all new parents and parents-to-be.
We run antenatal classes, refresher courses, baby and toddler groups, and have local breast feeding counsellors available to advise you. We also organise two very popular Nearly New Sales each year.
If you need some support, guidance, ideas or information then please contact us and we will be happy to assist. It doesn't matter whether or not you have attended our classes or are a member - we are here to help all local parents. We look forward to meeting you!
Crafty Kids and Coffee - NEW!
A new playgroup, called Crafty Kids and Coffee, will launch on 8 November 2012. Come and join us for a friendly, fun, informal playgroup, with craft activities for older children and a baby corner for little ones.
Where? United Reformed Church Hall, Abbey Lane, Saffron Walden
When? Every Thursday, 10:00 til 11:30
How much? £2 for the first child and 50p for siblings
Open houses
Hosted by parents in their own homes, these popular gatherings are a little more intimate than a baby and toddler group, and nobody will mind if you turn up halfway through in your pyjamas! The groups rotate between different members' houses; if you would like to host a gathering, you would be very welcome to do so, but there is absolutely no pressure.
