Disability Rights Commission

The Disability Rights Commission (DRC) is an independent body established in April 2000 by Act of Parliament to stop discrimination and promote equality of opportunity for disabled people. Services offered include: an advice and information Helpline for people, employers and service providers (Tel: 08457 622 633), Disability Conciliation Service, specialist legal service for test cases and awareness raising campaigns.
