Essex Sight

Essex Blind Charity (incorporating Essex Voluntary Association for the Blind) has been caring for the blind and visually impaired of Essex since the 1920s.

Our aim is to deliver a range of excellent support services to visually impaired people in Essex and the adjacent East London Boroughs.

The scope of our operations encompasses the County of Essex, the East London boroughs of Barking & Dagenham, Havering, Redbridge, and Waltham Forest, and the Unitary boroughs of Southend and Thurrock.

Today our services include the following:

  • Equipment centres demonstrating aids to daily living
  • Hospital Eye Clinic Support Groups
