Breathe Easy (British Lung Foundation)

Breathe Easy (British Lung Foundation) logo

Breathe easy is a support network for people who have a lung condition and for those who look after them. These people often feel alone and making friends is important.

For confidential advice and support, and for answers to questions you might have about living with a lung condition, call the British Lung Foundation Helpline on 03000 030 555 (Mon to Fri 10 am to 6 pm).

We offer information and support on a number of subjects including Travel & Transport, Oxygen, Equipment, Welfare Benefits, as well as many issues relating to over 40 lung conditions.

Breathe Easy groups provide a good opportunity for this to happen. The groups meet in many different towns, and indeed in Essex we now have 11 groups. They usually meet once a month and offer free information leaflets on the various diseases involved with lungs. They usually have a speaker on many different subjects and arrange social activities, outings and fund raising events. They are always there for your questions or queries - If they do not know the answer then they know a person who does.

See other Directory entries for local groups in Essex.
