Buffy Playbus is a Registered Charity, we rely on donations, grants and our own fund raising efforts to provide the mobile playgroup to 15 communities throughout Uttlesford. If you feel that you can help to support us in any way, either by volunteering on the bus, helping at one of our fund raising events or by becoming a a committee member or trustee, please contact us today.
WHAT WE DO..
Buffy Playbus provides pre-school children with an opportunity to play, socialise and have fun in comfortable and safe surroundings under the guidance of qualified playleaders. Mums, Dads and carers can relax and make new friends within their own communities or just "chill out".
Buffy Playbus has been in existance for nearly 17 years and during this time over 55,000 people have climbed on board the bus.
The double decker bus has been specially converted to provide, easily accessible and supervised play for under 5's. The inspired initiative of a mobile service in a widespread rural area, is invaluable in bringing good quality play and learning facilities, under the guidance of professional early years workers, directly to where they are needed most.
