Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (FFLAG)

FFLAG is a national voluntary organisation and registered charity. We are dedicated to supporting parents and their lesbian, gay and bisexual daughters and sons. We offer support through its central telephone helpline, email and website in our efforts to help parents and families understand, accept and support their LGB family members with love and pride. FFLAG works locally, nationally and in Europe on issues of equality for LGB people. We give talks, run workshops for a wide range of audiences and can provide training on issues of sexuality. We attend conferences, events and consultations around the UK to ensure the voice of parents is heard. FFLAG supports the full human and civil rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered people and speaks out and acts to defend and enhance those human and civil rights.
