Uttlesford Council Day Centres

Day Centres

There are five day centres (or community centres) in the Uttlesford District, in Great Dunmow, Saffron Walden, Stansted, Takeley and Thaxted.

The day centres provide a venue for social and recreational events for the benefit of persons aged over 55, and offer hot meals and other refreshments at very reasonable prices. The day centres are almost entirely run by volunteers.
