RNIB Project:Online Today

Online Today is a new Big Lottery funded project led by RNIB, and delivered in partnership, to help people with sensory loss across the UK get online. Our teams will help people realise the benefits of being online. We will give people the information and knowledge to make them feel confident using technology and help them to stay safe online.

Online Today will ensure people with sight loss have access to the same opportunities as everyone else.  We’re here to help them gain basic skills to get online and feel confident using technology in their everyday lives.  From browsing websites and sending emails, to keeping in touch with family and friends and up to date with news and leisure interests.

Our team of staff and volunteers will be reaching people through home visits, one-to-one and group sessions, nationwide workshops and events. Our team will be there to help them gain basic skills to get online and feel confident using technology in their everyday lives – it could be about how to use tablets, smartphones and eReaders, setting up email and social media accounts, or shopping and paying bills online, among other things.
