This website was designed by the Circle Housing Group to bring their tenants together who were looking for a HomeSwap. Since then it has been a great sucess and grown to what it is today the largest not-for-profit NATIONAL system to help people find a home.

House Exchange is a database of information given by tenants that want to move. House Exchange INSTANTLY lets you know what matches you have on the system and by registering for email alerts we can let you know as soon as a new match registers.
Tenants can search the database to find properties that match their requirements, either on their home computer, a family member or friend's computer or any public access computer such as in your local library.
A mutual exchange is basically a home swap. with another tenant. It could be a council house exchange, flat exchange, bungalow, maisonette or any other property type. You can swap homes with any council tenant or Housing Association tenant in the UK providing they have the right to mutual exchange and want to swap homes with you.
Advertising your home swap on House Exchange is free and really easy.
Everyone can advertise their property on House Exchange for Free. Your property will appear in search results and you will be able to search for home swaps. Once you have found a property you are interested in you will need to upgrade your subscription and pay a small fee to access their contact details.
If your Landlord partners with House Exchange then full subscription is free of charge.
