Inside Out offers help to Essex clients who are using drugs and have come into contact with the Criminal Justice System. Inside Out is a unique service that focuses on providing a joined-up continuous service both in the community and in the prison. The aim of the programme is to offer a seamless service for clients, whatever stage they are within the Criminal Justice System and in their recovery. All the partners - police, prison, probation and drug service - are focused on helping the client recover from drug dependency and stop reoffending, rather than stopping at the borders of their traditional responsibilities.
